My Testimony

As a disciple of Jesus Christ I bear my pure and humble testimony of those things I know to be true.

I know that we have a Heavenly Father, and that He loves each and every one of us, His children. I know that He has a plan for each of us and this plan brings us to earth and provides the conditions and destiny of our eternal journey.

I know that His son Jesus is the Christ and His teachings define our Father in Heaven’s plan for His children. I know that His Atonement gives the assurance of immortality and the opportunity for each of us to live in the family unit through the eternities.

I know that the Father and the Son appeared to the Prophet Joseph Smith to restore the fulness of the gospel in these latter days. I know that by the gift and power of God he translated the Book of Mormon and that this sacred book of scripture is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I know that those who will read and ponder the Book of Mormon and ask our Eternal Father in the name of Christ if it is true may know for themselves of its truthfulness through the power of the Holy Ghost, provided they will ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ.

I know that we are led today by a prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, who receives revelation from God to direct His kingdom. Associated with him are others who are prophets, seers, and revelators, even those who make up the presiding quorums of the Church, namely the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

To all these things I humbly testify in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
